About Elliot

I’m an incoming University of Toronto student passionate about math, science, and helping students reach their academic goals. Throughout high school, I maintained strong grades in advanced courses and was accepted into multiple pre-med and engineering programs across Canada, as well as Ivy League schools.

Outside of academics, I compete in track and field as a sprinter, where I became a provincial champion and national medalist. Being both a student and athlete has taught me discipline, consistency, and how to perform under pressure — qualities I also bring into my tutoring.

I enjoy making difficult concepts easier to understand and creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and improving at their own pace.

About the lesson

I’m an incoming University of Toronto student with a strong background in math and science, and I focus on helping students truly understand concepts instead of just memorizing formulas. I was accepted into multiple pre-med and engineering programs across Canada, as well as Ivy League schools, and I bring that academic experience into every lesson.

My lessons are personalized based on each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I work with middle school and high school students, helping with homework, test preparation, problem solving, and building confidence in math.

A typical lesson includes reviewing difficult concepts, working through examples step-by-step, and practicing questions together until the student feels comfortable solving them independently. I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.
