About Nick
Hi, I'm Nick. I help students go from "I don't get it" to "I can do this" in math.
I hold degrees in computer science and data analytics, as well as a business degree from the University of Rochester. Math has been a huge part of my life and work for over 15 years. As a tech leader at companies like Wayfair, I used algebra, statistics, and data every day to solve real problems.
That work shapes how I teach. I do not just show students which steps to take; I show them why those steps work and where they will see them in real life. When students understand the "why," confidence grows, and grades go up, too.
I am patient, organized, and reliable. Parents get clear updates on progress, and students get a calm space where no question is ever a bad question.
I look forward to helping your child succeed.

I start by finding the exact spot where a student gets stuck. Most kids who have trouble with Algebra or Trigonometry are not bad at math. Usually, they just missed one simple idea earlier on. I fix that piece first, and then everything gets much easier. I explain ideas in simple words, connect them to everyday life, and have students talk through their steps out loud. That is how I know they really understand the lesson.
What a Lesson Looks Like
Quick check of homework or tricky questions from school
One new idea taught with simple, real-life examples
Working through problems together, then trying a few solo
A fast wrap-up and a clear plan for the week
Why Work With Me?
I hold degrees in computer science, business, and data analytics, along with 15 years of experience working in tech. Because I use math every single day, I can show students how it works in the real world, making it way more fun than just reading a textbook.
Who I Help
Middle and high school students in Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Whether your child needs to catch up, stay on track, or get ready for big tests, I keep lessons patient, positive, and focused on building real confidence.
