About Sophia
I am a biochemistry major at the University of Iowa with a background in tutoring high school students for over 4 years in subjects such as Algebra I and II, Geometry, fundamental reading and writing, and english. Students who I have tutored have excelled greatly in classes and on the ACT.

I am an online tutor who focuses on making sure the student is confident at the end of each lesson. My tutoring is based on lots of practice and learning by talking through problems. One example is the student 'teaching' me how to do a problem to help them understand how to do the problem on their own.
