About Liesl
I've been teaching for 27 years and for the last 6 years, I've speciaised in the Singapore Math method of teaching. I absolutely love this approach and I am passionate about teaching. I always to try get this passion to rub off on my students. I am a very patient and caring teacher and my students can attest to that. I have a good working relationship with them and I am very approachable. I always encourage students to try their best, even if a sum is difficult.

I will use zoom as my teaching platform. My lessons will be 1 hour long, in English. My teaching style is based on the level and needs of my students. I love using the Singapore Maths method, as it focuses on the mastery of concepts and teaching Maths in a logical order. I like to encourage my students to use numbers flexibly, as number sense is foundational for high level Mathematics. I believe students learn best when they approach a subject as one that they enjoy and it is for this reason that I deliver fun, dynamic and engaging lessons.
