About Mukul

Hello! I'm Mukul — a Mathematics tutor with 3 years of experience
and a strong academic background:

- Graduated from Delhi University
- Cracked IIT Delhi MSc Entrance Exam
- Secured All India Rank 1509 at BHU — BSc (Math) Hons

After working with students across CBSE, ICSE, and SAT Math. I've noticed that most students struggle with Math for one of two reasons:

(A) They don't understand it conceptually
(B) They simply believe they "can't do Math" (this is the more
common one)

My job is to fix both.

I teach Math using real-life examples, live problem-solving, and
concept-first thinking so students don't just memorize steps,
they actually understand WHY Math works the way it does.

The result? Students who were once failing start solving hard
problems independently and with confidence.

The First Class is FREE — no pressure, no commitment. Book a
session, let your child experience the class, and then YOU decide.

Don't wait up, message me and let's get started!

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

Maths was always within me unconsciously because I had been watching my father teach students since my childhood. I remember when I was a kid (I guess 8 or 9 years old), I used to sit in the room where my father took coaching for Class 11 and 12 students. Then, cut to Class 10. I hated Maths. I mean, I used to get marks and all, but I hated it. However, I think the turning point was my Intermediate journey with Maths. I decided, "Okay, even though I don't enjoy Maths, let's just try at least." It was a hard six months, but thanks to my father, I started liking the analytical approach that comes with Maths, and I think that fact is what really developed my interest in Maths.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

I believe my primary motivation is definitely my father. It was literally not possible without him that I would have even liked Maths. The second reason, I believe, is the analysis part. I love that there is nothing such as a hard and fast rule. If there is a theorem or something, it has a "Why" attached to it. I love this thing.
  • How does your work help society?

Teaching is a very satisfying profession. I mean, you are genuinely trying to shape somebody's life for the better. If I have learned one thing with respect to Maths, it is this: you might "quit Maths," but "Maths won't quit you." It will keep coming back in the form of some entrance exam, some reasoning round for an interview, or something else entirely. So, I believe if I can ignite an interest in this subject in somebody's mind, he or she will probably thank me in the future.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

Like I said, that credit would definitely go to my father and his amazing tricks and techniques. If I have to choose one role model whom I haven't met or someone from history, it would be Swami Vivekananda. I think his message, which was derived from the Bhagavad Gita, is what really guides me: "To work you have the right, not to the fruits thereof."
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside teaching, I love Movies and there are no niche movies that I like, it could be Christopher Nolan's "Inception" or Marc Webb's "500 Days of Summer" or even SS Rajamouli's "RRR".
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

Not any anecdote in particular, but I believe that when you are teaching students, especially middle or high school, you need to remember that they are just 12- to 15-year-old kids. I have a habit of breaking the ice and making them as comfortable as possible so that I can hear about the amazing anecdotes they have to share with me. For instance, one time my student randomly sent me a photo of a squirrel and started telling me how she thinks "squirrels are always running but yet so calm." Too philosophical for a 13-year-old kid, right? But hey, they have great stories and perhaps even greater philosophies.
