I am a certified Special Education and Elementary Education teacher from Western Governors University, passionate about helping K–8 students succeed in math. I create structured, engaging lessons that build skills, confidence, and a love of learning. My approach to tutoring is student-centered and tailored to each learner’s needs. I use a combination of hands-on activities, visual models, and step-by-step problem-solving strategies to make math concepts clear and engaging. A typical lesson begins with a review of previous concepts, followed by guided practice with examples, independent work with support as needed, and ends with a reflection or quick check to ensure mastery. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students of all abilities, including those who benefit from specialized instruction, thanks to my degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education from Western Governors University. My lessons are ideal for K–8 students looking to strengthen foundational skills, tackle challenging topics, or gain confidence in math. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, take risks, and celebrate their progress.
