As a math/science tutor I initiate with conceptual basics and progress with basic application and then intensive practice coupled with frequent review. Basic Mathematic is closely followed with book-keeping and business application. Basic algebra is associated with geometry and mechanical drawing, triginometry is followed with vector mechanics and structural engineering. (real applications where possible). Boolean logic is followed with programing and digital electronics. In all instances whatever concept is attempted takes the initial instruction, followed by more intensive practice and then more complicated application.
