About Jayme
Math was my favorite subject in high school, so I decided to major in math when I started college. I earned an A.S. degree in math with a 4.0, and since then I have gained experience as a math tutor, both privately and with online tutoring platforms. I also have experience creating and editing math content, such as lessons, practice questions, and video tutorials. I think this work has strengthened my tutoring skills, and it has helped me stay up-to-date with the latest common core teaching methods in K-12 math classes.

My tutoring style is very casual and conversational. I like to keep things informal and let the student take the lead, adjusting my approach and teaching methods to fit each student's needs. I know everybody learns differently, and I enjoy finding different ways to explain a concept until I find the one that clicks. I tutor middle school and high school math subjects, as well as some college math classes like College Algebra.
