About Joydip

Hello! I'm Joydip, a mathematical physicist dedicated to making math constructive, intuitive, and exciting. I earned my PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Georgia (GA, USA) and have held research and teaching positions at the University of Georgia, University of Calgary (AB, Canada) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (WI, USA). With 20+ years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping students break through academic bottlenecks, master complex concepts, and build lasting analytical confidence.

My deep foundation in mathematics stems from my academic background, which gives me a unique specialization in advanced college-level as well as high-school/middle-school math, including the fundamental topics, such as Algebra, Calculus and Geometry. Over my career, I have taught mathematics for several years across diverse educational settings. This includes classroom-style lectures and recitations for high-school and undergraduate students, as well as one-on-one private tutoring. I also have extensive experience guiding students through competitive exam preparation and advanced placement courses.

About the lesson

First, I demystify the "why" by breaking down intimidating formulas into logical, step-by-step visual analogies. Second, we focus on targeted problem-solving where we tackle real problems together. Finally, I customize my pacing, tone, and practice materials to match your unique learning style and goals.
