About Stephen
I am an electrical engineering major at Clemson University, and I have taken math courses up through college-level Differential Equations. My lessons are for students in college level math courses of Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I have taken all of these classes, earning high As and helping classmates understand the concepts, too. I believe that anyone can understand math if it is explained properly. A great aid to students is a healthy dose of encouragement and an understanding that mistakes are just steps toward greater comprehension.

My tutoring sessions with you will focus on material that you need help understanding in your current class(es). I do not prepare lessons on my own to teach. Instead, I will help you understand the topics in your current classes that you bring to me. If you are struggling to learn a concept, I will listen to you explain what you understand so far, asking questions and offering input to guide you to the correct understanding of the topics. I will not force-feed you answers; I want you to understand how to work the problem correctly, consistently.
