About Christopher
I bring 14 years of experience in education to the classroom. Over the years, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade, and served in leadership roles including Math Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, District Math Director, and even National Director of K-8 Mathematics for the nation’s largest public charter school network. In 2025, I felt the pull to return to where my heart has always been—teaching scholars directly. I am now a proud 3rd grade math teacher in Atlanta, Georgia, and I absolutely love working with students each day. My teaching philosophy is simple: every child can achieve at high levels when given the right tools and supports. I believe students thrive when they build a strong “math toolkit” filled with strategies, curiosity, and confidence. My classes emphasize problem-solving, flexible thinking, and the belief that mistakes are opportunities to grow.

I make learning math both fun and engaging. It’s all about providing you with the toolkit to have multiple strategies to solve problems. Become efficient at all aspects of K-5 mathematics. I believe that every child is capable of greatness when given the correct tools and mindset. Lessons will explore the concept with giving the student different ways to solve. Sessions can also be homework help and really tailored to the needs of the student.
