About Jason
I’m an Electrical Engineering college student pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Engineering; I’m an AP Scholar, and I’ve scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT Math Section. In 2019, my love of math and engineering took me all the way to a national competition called SkillsUSA, and I won the gold medal. I spent years learning the best test taking strategies, and I’ve been tutoring high school students for 3 years now in the field of mathematics; I can’t wait to help you excel.

Understanding how math applies to the world around us is central to understanding why we even use math in the first place. With my lessons, I can guarantee you that math will no longer just be senseless numbers on a paper; I’ll help you visualize and understand real-world problems that people use everyday. From engineers, to scientists, to industry laborers and beyond- math applies to a large variety of professions. Whether you’re just getting started in Algebra, or are ready to get your feet wet with Calculus - I’ll act as your coach every step of the way and help you see math beyond just the numbers. If you’re getting ready for college, I’m a 99th percentile scorer on the SAT, and I’ll help you do your very best when it comes down to test day. I’m personally fascinated by the art of test taking, and if you’re struggling or nervous, I’ll give you all the tips you need to breeze right through it. Too often, students are forced to learn math without actually understanding where any of the numbers or formulas come from, and it upsets me because math wasn’t designed to be a repetitive exercise... it’s purpose was always to inspire creativity and unleash new ways to solve real-world problems. If you’ve ever heard anyone say “I’m never going to use this math” ... well guess what: I’m here to show you all the useful and fun ways you can, and why you should.
