About (E) Dean
In my math lessons, we focus on building rapid numerical fluency through understanding, not memorization. Instead of tricks, you learn the principles behind lightning-fast mental calculations. These ideas help you spot patterns and choose efficient problem-solving shortcuts. Accurate estimation becomes natural, not a guessing game.
I include brain-training exercises that sharpen focus and flexibility. Fun challenges add energy and push both speed and accuracy. Each session is interactive and encouraging.
I have a special knack for helping Olympiad aspirants rethink how they approach numbers. I also guide engineers-in-training to make quick math feel practical and intuitive. Slowly, hesitation turns into confidence. Numbers start to feel friendly and predictable. Prepare to amaze yourself as mental agility becomes a natural part of how you think.

I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a MSc in Computational Mathematics. I specialize in helping non-STEM majors understand advanced mathematical ideas without stress or intimidation. My teaching is holistic, focusing on meaning, structure, and relevance rather than heavy computation. I believe math makes sense when you see the ideas behind it.
To support this, I use everyday analogies that connect abstract concepts to familiar experiences. I also weave in historical context, sharing how great thinkers developed these ideas and why they mattered. This approach highlights the big ideas behind complex theories instead of isolated formulas.
Much of my work is with liberal arts students and humanities scholars. I also support learners who carry math phobia from past experiences. Together, we slow things down, ask better questions, and rebuild understanding step by step.
