About Georges
I hold degrees in Pure Mathematics (BSc, PhD), Mathematical Statistics (MSc), and Artificial Intelligence (MSc). Originally from Belgium, I relocated to the UK to further my research at University College London, where I am currently teaching mathematics and financial mathematics students alongside my PhD work.
Throughout my academic journey, I graduated at the top of my class in secondary school and at every university I attended, ranking in the top 1% of the Faculty of Sciences in Belgium. I have been tutoring students since the age of 16.

I am thrilled to provide mathematics tutoring across all levels, from secondary school to PhD, encompassing essential topics such as algebra, calculus, logic, topology, real and complex analysis, measure theory, probability theory, statistics, optimisation, differential geometry, information theory, modelling, algorithms, stochastic processes, stochastic calculus, functional analysis, time series analysis, option pricing, regression models, machine learning, optimal transport, etc.
In addition to teaching, I frequently serve as a consultant for bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD dissertations and theses, assisting with mathematical aspects for students in diverse disciplines such as neuroscience, economics, engineering, and psychology.
Moreover, I have extensive experience in teaching adults from non-scientific backgrounds, explaining technical subjects in an accessible manner. I enjoy leading discussions on contemporary topics like “What is AI?”, “How does cryptography work?”, and “How to produce art with equations?”
I also provide specialised training for those aspiring to become quantitative analysts (quants), equipping them with the necessary mathematical and analytical skills for the finance industry.
