Mathematics and Engineering student that knows how it feels to be confused in math class

I would not be surviving Matlab without John. He is friendly and very patient. Travel is difficult for me and he is kind enough to come to my campus. I highly recommend John.

Johnny is an amazing tutor! He’s helped me so much and I’ve only had a few sessions so far. He’s is really good at breaking down concepts that you don’t understand and provides simple examples that help you grasp the material quickly. He’s very patient and is able to determine the most effective learning strategy for you. I tend to get stressed out when it comes to applying concepts in problems. He’s very understanding and has helped me stop over-complicating things, understand what the questions are asking for and what the best way to approach it is. Despite the fact that I do not enjoy maths or physics even remotely, he always finds a way to make the sessions fun and engaging!
On top of his insane ability to teach, he’s a really great person, awesome to be around and easy to work with!

Johnny is my twin. You may think that makes me biased in favour of him, but in fact I would take any opportunity to tear this guy down.
Unfortunately, I cannot lie on the internet. Johnny and I have taken very different paths in life. I write papers about video games, he designs rovers for fun. I cannot stress this enough; I COUNT ON MY FINGERS and Johnny got me to understand control theory during thanksgiving dinner without a pen and paper.
He will NOT REST until you can verify you understand what he is telling you. Seriously. He once paused a game of smash bros to quiz me on a calculus thing I DID NOT ASK TO BE TAUGHT.
This man is DESPERATE to teach. Please stop him from teaching me, and let him channel his insane drive to spread math-love to the world.
