About L
I majored in chemistry with almost enough credits for a second major in mathematics. I was a teacher on a secondary school level before entering industry for 30 years. While working it was part of my job to figure out training methods and teach classes. I was good at designing courses for different individuals. I wrote several training manuals.
Upon retiring I returned to tutoring. I had tutored extensively through high school and college. While working as a tutor I was in demand. I took a few years off because of Covid. Now I am ready to tutor again.
I believe that we all learn differently and some subjects require more or different instruction. My goal is to make students more comfortable with the subject matter so that they can feel confident.

Each lesson varies according to what the student needs to stay current in school. I am flexible meeting their individual needs.
Upon meeting a student I listen to what works for them and structure my lessons accordingly. No two people learn in the same way.
I also stress the idea that many of us need extra help.
