About Shenal
I am a Mathematics student at Durham University and thus have excelled in Maths and Further Maths at both GCSE and A level prior to University. I thoroughly believe that Maths is a skill that anyone can learn and that any weakness in the subject is only due to a lack of proper teaching. Anyone can become competent in Maths with proper guidance and their own efforts. I previously tutored at Kumon and have experience dealing with large amounts of very different students.

My teaching method is very simple. Regardless of prior knowledge every topic will be introduced in an intuitive way as to focus on the students understanding and to fill in any blanks that could hinder learning (this is the fun part which will teach people to really love maths). Then, I will provide easy to follow examples, and finally the student will have to tackle problems themselves (with my guidance) , as after all, the student is on their own during the exam.
