About Charlotte

Hello, I'm Charley, a Mathematics and Economics undergraduate at the University of Bristol with a passion for mathematics and helping students achieve their academic goals.

My mathematical qualifications include GCSE Statistics (Grade 9, completed a year early), GCSE Mathematics (Grade 9), FSMQ Additional Mathematics (Grade A), A-Level Mathematics (A*) and A-Level Further Mathematics (A).

Having recently completed GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques required to succeed in modern examinations. I know that many students work hard but are often unsure why they are losing marks or where to focus their revision.

I enjoy helping students build confidence by identifying weaknesses, strengthening understanding and improving exam technique. My approach combines detailed feedback, personalised revision guidance, targeted practice and recorded video explanations that students can revisit whenever needed.

Mathematics is a subject where small improvements in understanding can lead to significant improvements in performance. My goal is not only to help students achieve higher grades, but also to develop the confidence and problem-solving skills that will benefit them long after their exams.

About the lesson

Every student receives support tailored to their individual strengths and weaknesses. Through detailed feedback, personalised revision plans, targeted practice tasks and recorded video explanations that can be revisited at any time, I create a structured learning process designed to improve understanding, exam technique and overall performance. Rather than simply providing answers, I focus on helping students understand why mistakes occur, how to correct them and how to approach similar problems confidently in the future. This creates lasting improvements in both mathematical ability and exam results.
