About Elle

My passion for Mathematics developed from an early appreciation for logical reasoning and structured problem-solving. This interest led me to complete an M.Sc in Mathematics Education, where I combined advanced mathematical knowledge with effective teaching methodologies. Over 11 years of teaching, I have supported students across elementary school math, middle school math, SAT math preparation, and early Calculus, helping them build confidence step by step. I approach teaching with patience and attentiveness, always considering how each learner processes information. I adapt explanations using visual models, step-by-step reasoning, and practical examples that make abstract ideas more approachable. I encourage questions and emphasize that mistakes are a natural part of learning, helping students develop confidence without fear. Outside the classroom, I remain engaged with mathematics through curriculum planning and continuous professional development. Teaching Math is deeply meaningful to me because I consistently witness students overcome self-doubt. Helping learners recognize their logical ability and potential is the most rewarding aspect of my work.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes far less intimidating when learners understand concepts clearly and progress at a steady pace. My lessons cover elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, SAT math, and Calculus, all taught with an emphasis on understanding relationships rather than memorizing formulas. I focus on helping students see how ideas connect, building confidence through structured explanation and consistent practice. Lessons are calm, clear, and designed to reduce anxiety.

Lesson structure is tailored to each learner’s level. Elementary school math focuses on number sense, arithmetic skills, and problem interpretation. Middle school math introduces geometry concepts, proportional reasoning, and foundational algebra using visual support. Advanced learners work on algebraic manipulation, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus concepts with attention to accuracy and logical flow. Practice problems are used thoughtfully to reinforce understanding.

Maths lessons also help students develop patience, focus, and self-belief. As learners gain clarity, they become more comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems independently. Many begin to view mathematics as structured and achievable rather than overwhelming. My goal is to help students feel confident in their reasoning and capable of long-term academic success.
