About Liora

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and 9 years of teaching experience. Mathematics has always interested me because it combines logic, creativity, and problem solving in a unique way. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that appreciation while helping students overcome challenges and build confidence.

My approach is centered on clear communication and personalized support. I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I adapt lessons to fit individual needs. Whether using visual methods, practical examples, or step-by-step explanations, I work to make learning effective and enjoyable. Helping students develop confidence is just as important as improving academic results.

Beyond teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical applications in technology, economics, and data analysis. These interests allow me to connect classroom topics to real-world situations. I believe every student can improve with consistent guidance and practice. Supporting that growth is one of the most fulfilling parts of being a tutor.

About the lesson

My Maths lessons focus on helping students build understanding through logical thinking and structured learning. I teach topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics using simple explanations and guided practice. Rather than memorizing methods, students learn why mathematical procedures work and how different concepts connect. This creates stronger confidence and long-term understanding.

Each lesson is designed around the learner’s current level and goals. Beginners work on mastering core skills and developing confidence with calculations. Intermediate learners strengthen problem-solving techniques and improve accuracy through targeted exercises. Advanced students refine analytical reasoning, exam preparation skills, and complex mathematical applications. Lessons remain supportive while encouraging steady progress and independent thinking.

I aim to make Mathematics less stressful and more rewarding. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore different solution methods, and learn from mistakes. Over time, they develop stronger confidence and a more positive attitude toward challenging problems. My goal is to help learners view Maths as a useful and approachable subject rather than something to fear.
