About Mrs Valdez
My tutoring journey started on the CU Denver campus. I tutored during off periods. I was patient and supportive. Students responded very well.
I enjoy working with clients to improve academics and reach scholastic goals. I specialize in high school curriculum, undergrad curriculum, and state exam material. I taught in a college professorship. I've tutored professionally for 13 years. I have extensive experience with state exams including the ASVAB, Accuplacer, GED, Gmat, Praxis all levels, Firefighter exam, Electrician Journeyman, ACT, SAT. I use helpful exam resources. I completed a Master's degree in Business Education and Applied Mathematics. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business and Computer Information Technology. I hold an Associates in Psychology and General Studies. I'm pursuing a PhD.
I have a background check per state requirements. I graduated with highest honors at a private university. Designations include Alpha Sigma Nu, Summa Cum Laude, Sixth Sigma, and academic awards.
I was a campus tutor. I truly enjoy helping others. Thirteen years later I am a professional tutor. I use my advanced degrees and experience to help high school, college students, and testing students succeed. In addition to a background check; I am CPR certified. I attend educational, business and science seminars. I worked for a professional tutoring lab before growing my business during my graduate program. The sessions are one hour. We discuss grades, upcoming exams, and portal assignments. Any missing assignments are prioritized. All 9th-12th subjects are supported. College and testing students work on specific courses or exams. I focus on high school, college, and adult learners. I support middle school students on higher level material. I support traditional, AP, IB, Honors, IEP, ILP learners. All courses are welcome. Exams: Accuplacer, ASVAB, Fire Fighters exam, GMAT, GED, TEAS, ACT, SAT, Praxis (all grade levels), Electricians Journey exam. I specialize in English, mathematics, science, history, and business content.

*New clients recieve a special ! A FREE session is included when a session package is purchased. I offer discount packages to assist with weekly support. My rates are competitive. I allow students to determine their frequency. I suggest 1 session per week. Sessions are one hour of concentrated work. Study rooms are reserved and white boards are provided. Session schedules are offered weekly. Weekday evenings and weekend hours are offered.
