About Robert

Holding an MS Mathematics from the University of Michigan, I offer a rigorous perspective on how you learn math. My approach treats you as a capable participant in the process rather than a passive observer. I focus on conceptual learning and geometry alongside competition math prep and trigonometry.

Arithmetic and number sense are built through practical problem-solving strategies during our sessions. Homework help and mensuration are handled through real-world examples instead of tidy made-up problems. It is satisfying to see students shift from struggling to independently dismantling complex equations.

About the lesson

Clarity is the byproduct of focusing on the messiness of actual mathematics. Achieving a 9.0 rating requires abandoning the idea that textbook problems are the only way to gain proficiency.
