About Laura
Hi, I am a fairly recent mathematics graduate from Lancaster University. I specialised in statistics in my final year but enjoyed all aspects of the course.
I currently work for a tech company as a data analyst, which allows me to utilise my background in maths and statistics.
Tutoring is something I still do in my spare time as I find it very rewarding and want to help people to feel more confident going into their exams, as I remember how nerve-racking that can be.

I specialise in GCSE & A-level Maths & Further Maths having studied Maths & Statistics to degree-level. I have 2 years of professional tutoring experience.
Maths has always made sense to me, but I know this is not the case for most people, especially throughout school. I try to make the subject less intimidating and break it down into simple steps that are easy to understand. The best way to improve in maths is by doing - carrying out exercises is key - so this is a fundamental part of my lessons.
Lessons will be personalised to the individual depending on their specific requirements and areas of development.
Typical lesson length is 1-2 hours but can be flexible depending on your schedule.
