About Candida
Why do some students find calculus so elusive despite working hard on every assignment? I earned a BS Mathematics degree from the University of Chicago and currently maintain a valid teaching credential. My 7.0 years of practice involve helping people see the underlying logic of differentiation rules, integrals, and limits and continuity.
Developing strong problem-solving strategies for sequences, series, and curve sketching remains my focus. I address the specific points where understanding stalls, helping students clarify area, volume, and Taylor series concepts. My steady approach relies on untangling confusion rather than just memorizing formulas.
