About Joshua
I graduated Loughborough University with a 2:1 in BSc Mathematics in 2023, and after this I moved to Taiwan for a year to teach English as a foreign language. During this time I taught students of all ages and abilities, and this gave me great confidence with teaching! During my studies for my bachelor's, I also gained lots of experience as a maths teacher's assistant in schools all around the country. Currently, I'm a student at the University of Westminster, studying for a Master's degree in Software Engineering. Outside of university, I'm usually in a bouldering gym, out taking pictures, or planning trips to new countries!

My lessons are online and typically one hour long and focus on a specific area/topic that you want to practise. I have experience teaching as a GCSE maths teacher's assistant, as well as one year experience teaching English as a foreign language overseas. My expertise is GCSE/A Level maths, and all abilities within these levels are welcome! The best way to prepare for exams is to practise them! My lessons consist of working through exam style questions on topics of your request. At first we will talk through the problem together, and build up your confidence with each problem until you can answer one independently by the end of the class. My lessons are paced by you! We will work together and go as fast or slow as you need to make sure you gain the most out of the class. As a student myself, I understand the importance of building confidence, so I will give you all the support you need to ace your exams!
