About Luke

I am a Mathematics graduate, currently teaching online and in schools. I have a passion for teaching skills and knowledge. I have been tutoring for a number of years and know all the ins and outs of Mathematics exams, and the resources to support.

A lesson with me is always unique as each and every student is unique in their learning styles and ability. I always make sure to adapt and change my teaching methods for each student that needs help.

Also being a mentor at my old school and now university, I am able to identify and help others open up to what they are struggling with, so support can be given or content reviewed if needed.

I’m also a scout leader helping children locally, learn life skills in a different environment to the classroom.

About the lesson

I engaged with every student uniquely as no two people are alike. I prefer to build up a profile with the student on strengths and areas for improvement that will overall benefit when it comes to the exam. My teaching style is always active, with a mix of information giving, questions to practise on and then finally a recap of how well the topic has been learnt.

Maths is about understanding and practising, with the two of them together you can solve any question!

He explains concepts clearly and concisely and builds up the complexity in a way that allows you to fully grasp the more complex areas.
