About Ameer
I am a Mathematics graduate from Coventry University and undertook a teacher training course in secondary Mathematics. I have been private tutoring for almost 15 years and specialize in secondary Mathematics. I have successfully tutored students to achieve top grades in GCSE and A Level Mathematics, as well as helping younger students to achieve entry into grammar schools.

I first assess the child's knowledge and work on weaknesses as well as building up their strengths. Rather than a lecturing style, I try to guide the children towards noticing mathematical patterns themselves, which is proven to be a more effective way for children to retain knowledge. I try to build on previous knowledge, as many areas of Mathematics are linked to each other.
