About Silvia

I have ten years of experience in repetitions: I had more than thirty students of any age having many different needs, including: - preparation of mathematics exams for university students of economics and cognitive psychology - homework help for children with disabilities - help to overcome the math debt at the beginning of the school year.
Remember that learning math needs time: if you think you need individual classes, it's better to start earlier and do a single class a week, instead of learning intensively for many hours a day!

About the lesson

Warning: the 39 euros that Superprof asks you to pay are the pass to contact the teachers. They are NOT a payment for the lessons: they all go to the site, not to the teachers!
I offer Mathematics classes for all school levels: at the first meeting we understand what is the goal you want to achieve, what is your level; then we set the program and the time needed. At each new concept we first try to understand the idea and then the formalism. If you want to learn with me you have to promise to ALWAYS ask questions when you don't understand something, especially if the question seems stupid !

Perfect! Sono molto soddisfatta del lavoro svolto da Silvia con mia figlia. Silvia è una persona estremamente disponibile, dai modi gentili e sa mettere a proprio agio le persone. È molto preparata e sa spiegare la materia rendendola semplice e comprensibile. Inoltre ha grandi capacità organizzative: nel breve tempo a disposizione è riuscita a ripercorrere il programma di un intero anno scolastico, chiarendo ciò che risultava poco chiaro prima.
Mia figlia ha imparato con lei ciò che non era riuscita a comprendere con le insegnanti a scuola ed ha acquisito maggiore sicurezza e padronanza della materia. Grazie al lavoro svolto insieme a Silvia, mia figlia ha sostenuto e superato brillantemente il proprio esame.

Ho fatto lezione alla figlia di Tiziana, Ginevra, una ragazza timida che sarebbe piuttosto dotata per la matematica ma ha vissuto un rapporto conflittuale con le/gli insegnanti e quindi non è molto sicura dei suoi mezzi. Aveva semplicemente bisogno di avere una spiegazione chiara e la possibilità di fare domande; ho cercato di lavorare anche sull'autostima e sulla capacità di gestire la paura prima dell'esame di recupero, a mio avviso i problemi principali. Spero che l'esame sia andato bene!
