About Khyber
I am a PGCE Mathematics student with a bachelors in Finance. I hold two years of work experience in Finance and some prior experience in Hospitality. In the past, i have given private lessons to GCSE Maths students looking to achieve the best grades in their exams. My aim is and will always be to instil in the minds of the students the methodology of actually understanding what you are doing by teaching the concepts of each topic rather than only achieving good grades. I hope to further strengthen my Maths skills as much as I can in the future.

My teaching method solely depends on the needs of the student/s. An initial assessment will be taken to clarify areas of weakness and misconceptions the student has. These areas will then be improved throughout. I intend to incorporate many methods of teaching into my lessons, most prominant of which are: Repetition, Pair Work, Modelling the Topic, Visuals, Connections and Assessments to make sure the students thoroughly understand each topic and it's relevant questions. I look to differentiate my lessons at each step in accordance with the student needs and provide extension work when needed to help with progression and setting high expectations.
