About Heather
I have been teaching adult learners, college preparatory and high school students for over thirteen years. My students have won state Math League championships, increased tests scores on SAT and Accuplacer tests and learned an appreciation for mathematics in everyday life. I have also taught Criminal Justice, Psycology, College English and many other online college courses.

I have a MSEd and a BS in Mathematics. I can speak to learners in their own language and I always start at the level of the learner. I do not use confusing language or "eduspeak" making the content easier for the learner to grasp. I have always connected with my students and many say that I make the subject easier and more fun.
