About Ramiro
I am a university professor with over 16 years of experience teaching mathematics, statistics, and STEM subjects at Universidad Técnica de Machala in Ecuador. I hold a Master's degree in Educational Management and Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering.
During my career, I have taught calculus, algebra, statistics, and applied mathematics to hundreds of undergraduate students. I recently completed a 213-hour Data Science diploma, which keeps my math and statistics skills current and connected to real-world applications.
My teaching approach is patient and structured. I believe every student can understand math when it is explained step by step, with clear examples and practice. I am comfortable using online tools, digital whiteboards, and video platforms for remote learning.
I look forward to helping you or your student build confidence and real understanding in math — not just memorize formulas.

In my lessons, I break down math problems into small, clear steps so students understand the reasoning, not just the answer. I use real examples and visual explanations to make abstract concepts easier to follow. Each session includes guided practice, so you leave with skills you can use on your own, not just notes. I adjust my pace to each student's needs — moving faster when a topic is clear, and slowing down when it needs more attention. My goal is to build both math skills and confidence, so students stop feeling anxious about the subject and start feeling capable.
