About Marco

As a tutor, my ultimate goal is to empower my students to succeed and reach their full potential. I have a deep passion for teaching and have honed my skills through years of experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and at varying levels of proficiency.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and have tutored both Math and English to students in grades 1-12 in New York City public schools. I have also traveled abroad to Ecuador to teach English to high school students. I am committed to staying up-to-date on the latest teaching techniques and educational research to ensure that I provide the best possible guidance to my students.

In addition to my credentials, I take pride in being approachable, patient, and empathetic in my teaching approach. I understand that every student has unique needs, and I work tirelessly to adapt my approach to fit those needs. About the lesson

As a tutor, I believe that every student has unique learning needs and that it's important to tailor my approach to those needs. My goal is to not only help students understand the material, but to also build their confidence and help them develop effective study habits.

My teaching method involves a collaborative approach where I work closely with the student to understand their strengths and weaknesses. I like to start by assessing their current knowledge of the subject and identifying areas where they need more support. From there, I develop a lesson plan that focuses on those specific areas and includes a variety of teaching techniques to keep the student engaged and motivated.

A typical lesson plan may include a mix of lecture-style teaching, interactive exercises, and problem-solving activities. Throughout the session, I encourage questions and provide feedback to ensure that the student is on track and gaining a solid understanding of the material.
