I first like to teach the general principals of a concept to give my students the bigger picture of what I'm teaching them. Then specific principals of a topic to learn how to answer a specific group of questions that will occur in your exams. Finally I run through some exam stlyed questions to help give the students confidence to answer questions and to cement the principals discussed earlier, using real numbers.
