About Brandon
Hi, my name's Brandon and I'm a 3rd year undergraduate Maths student at the University of Edinburgh. I decided to study maths with the sole goal of becoming a teacher who can inspire and enthuse students in the future, or at least make the subject slightly less boring. I've done my fair share of past papers and would like to share that knowledge with my students. I've also once received a summer scholarship to study at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) which really helped push me in learning to become a teacher who knows how to enthuse his students. I've taught students both as a tutor and an assistant teacher. I'm here to share what I know and make things easier for all my students.

With my Maths and Physics lessons, I challenge my students with more difficult questions that fully assess their understanding however, I do understand how it's like being a GCSE and IB student, therefore I also pay a large amount of my attention towards actual exam-style questions and helping my student practice for the exam both in knowledge and the ability to handle the atmosphere. In my Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Italian classes, depending on the student, I can focus on exam-style questions or if they'd prefer, simply enjoying learning the language, learning to have meaningful conversations, expressing themselves and simply learning the culture.
My experiences as a tutor include the private tutoring I had done while I was in the process of achieving my IB diploma; teaching English and Mandarin to primary students who only spoke Cantonese at a school in Hong Kong, and other relevant experiences include my 2 years as a summer camp counsellor to young children.
My lessons are available for any student of any age up to an IB level, and a typical length of a lesson is usually 1.5 hours but can be discussed
