About Wyatt
I am a 21-year-old third-year undergraduate pure mathematics student. I have fallen in love with the field as a teenager. I began independently studying mathematics for fun for around 6 years by now. I have found tremendous success in my pursuits, earning several awards from my college for excellence in mathematics. My peers often sought me for informal tutoring, asking me for advice or to explain concepts to them. For most lectures I attended in I engaged in deep dialogues with my professor or another student. Many of my peers wanted to hear my thought process and thanked me for my help after the end of the course. It was my professor who suggested I become a tutor and wrote a letter of recommendation for a position as a peer tutor at my college that sadly got filled before I could apply. I am very happy I still have the chance to tutor you.

The best teachers are those who are passionate about what they teach. I for a long time have held an intense passion for mathematics. While pursuing formal study is part of my passion, so is sharing my love of math with others. As a tutor I intend to guide you on your mathematical journey. My lessons will be focused on building intuition and understanding rather than rote memorization. I shall do this by focusing on the process of problem solving, and showing how the tools involved were derived. I will inspire curiosity and lead you to find understanding yourself. My goal is to make the discoveries feel obvious in hindsight, or as if with just the right nudge, you could have come up with it yourself. I want you to see math as a playground you can shape to your desire.
I shall be teaching from middle school level mathematics to low-mid level undergraduate mathematics such as Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, and Multivariable Calculus.
