About Sanah
I am a Chartered Accountant who has completed a Bachelors Honours Mathematics degree and attained a 1st class. I am offering GCSE Mathematics, Sciences and Geography tuition. I also offer Chartered Accounting ICAS exam tutoring sessions. I enjoy working with students, adapting my teaching style to each individual. I offer online sessions only.
I have helped many students achieve grades 8 and 9 at GCSE, as well as A* grades in A Level Mathematics, by ensuring they develop a strong understanding of the fundamental concepts before progressing to more advanced topics. By building solid foundations and tailoring explanations to each student’s learning style, I help students gain confidence in their abilities, feel comfortable asking questions, and stay motivated through a genuine understanding of the subject. This approach enables students to become confident learners who are able to tackle even the most complex mathematical concepts with clarity and assurance.

A Level: Mathematics: £30/hour
Chartered Accountancy Exams Tutoring: Depends on exam, ranging from £35/hour

I start by assessing a student’s ability through test papers, mark them and then ask them if they have any specific topics they would like to cover. I then start with the more basic topics that they need to cover, giving them a test paper to check their understanding and work my way through the harder content, while also testing on old content through question papers at the start of the session. I refine exam technique when answering the question through careful marking and analysing the mark scheme with the student, so that they can attain every final mark by tailoring their answer to the mark scheme.
