About Aneliya
My name is Aneliya, and I am a certified Mathematics teacher with experience in the IB programmes (MYP and DP). I teach Mathematics in English to students in Grades 7–12.
I believe that success in Mathematics does not come from memorisation, but from understanding, perseverance, and building confidence. My goal is for students to feel comfortable asking questions and to gradually overcome challenges with confidence.
In my lessons, I use approaches adapted to each student's individual learning style. I work with both students aiming for high academic achievement and students who benefit from additional support and structure.

My teaching approach is based on the idea that learning is most effective when students understand and can demonstrate the reasoning behind the solution. In my lessons, I use a combination of visual, practical, technological, and inquiry-based approaches to adapt learning to each student's individual learning style.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes.
My experience is in international education and teaching within the IB program (MYP and DP). I have worked with students preparing for examinations and academic goals, as well as students with specific learning needs, including dyscalculia and dyslexia. The lessons are suitable for students in Grades 7–12 studying in either Bulgarian or English.
