About Stephanie

Obtaining my graduate degree in mathematics planted a seed of respect for the subject that has since grown into total adoration. I know it's not everyone's favorite subject but I love getting my students to see the beautiful side of math. Even if you never use the actual math again, you absolutely will use the skills that allow you to do the math.

My teaching approach is very much "student-led". I try to have the student talking just as much, or more, than me. I design extremely personalized lessons, focusing on the material that the student struggles with the most and will have the most impact on their future success. I also prioritize independence and self-reliance in my interactions. In the age of AI, I think its more important now than ever to provide my students with the tools they need to think for themselves and take ownership of their growth. As someone who has taught a range of classes, my tutoring services are available to anyone from freshman level high school to undergraduate math classes in college.
