About Michael
Insofar as educational practice goes, it is motivated by my firmly held notion that there are far more badly taught people than there are incapable ones. I encourage constantly and I praise when it is warranted. The highest praise goes to a student who has solved a problem differently from the way I showed, the next highest to those who find my errors and finally to those who find an error in their text.

I teach theory, practice, and the absolute necessity to both write and study to foster learning. I encourage you to ask questions to get clarification, and know that you don't always get it the first time to you see it.
