About Robin

I achieved an A* in GCSE Maths, and throughout my education, I have consistently excelled in the subject. However, I firmly believe that success in maths isn’t just about natural ability—hard work and a solid grasp of the fundamentals are key. My approach to tutoring reflects this belief, as I focus on building a strong foundation in basic concepts before moving on to more advanced topics. I understand that every student learns differently, so I strive to make maths approachable and enjoyable, helping my students achieve their best through patience, encouragement, and clear explanations. As a tutor, I strive to pass on this mindset to my students.

About the lesson

As a private maths tutor, I offer tailored, one-on-one sessions focused on helping students understand complex concepts in a simple and relatable way. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style, whether they need help with foundational topics or advanced problem-solving. My goal is to build confidence and improve grades by creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students can ask questions and work at their own pace. With a passion for maths and a patient approach, I help students not only master the subject but also develop a genuine interest in it. Aside from being a great experience for both me, and my students, I genuinely enjoy teaching, which I think makes it easier to build a connection with the student and over time to build strong bonds which transcend our relationship solely as student and tutor.
