About Pirya

My academic journey includes a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, studies that shaped my appreciation for abstraction, structure, and real-world application. Over 12 years of teaching, I have supported learners at various levels, helping them develop confidence in mathematical reasoning and expression. Teaching has shown me that understanding flourishes when learners feel supported rather than pressured.

My teaching style emphasizes clarity, consistency, and adaptability. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding and addressing them through visual explanation, guided practice, and progressive challenges. I encourage learners to explain their thinking, reflect on mistakes, and explore alternative methods. This builds strong analytical habits and long-term confidence.

Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with mathematical modeling, applied analysis, and problem exploration. These interests enrich my lessons and keep them intellectually grounded. Teaching Mathematics is fulfilling because I see learners move from confusion to clarity, discovering their own capacity for structured reasoning and problem-solving.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes meaningful when learners understand how ideas are connected and developed rather than memorized in isolation. My lessons focus on guiding students through concepts such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, functions, and introductory calculus with clarity and purpose. I emphasize logical structure, showing how definitions lead to methods and how methods lead to solutions. Lessons are paced carefully to ensure learners have time to reflect, ask questions, and strengthen understanding.

Instruction is personalized to match each learner’s academic stage. Some students focus on reinforcing fundamentals, correcting misconceptions, and improving accuracy. Others develop advanced reasoning, multi-step problem-solving, and exam-oriented strategies. Practice questions are selected to encourage thinking rather than repetition, and feedback highlights reasoning processes as much as final answers. This approach helps learners develop independence and resilience.
