About Iris
My interest in Mathematics began with exploring patterns and logical structures in both natural and abstract settings. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I developed strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills. Over 8 years of teaching, I have created a structured, patient, and supportive approach that helps learners grasp complex concepts while nurturing confidence. I adapt lessons to each learner’s style, using visual aids, practical examples, and stepwise problem-solving strategies. I encourage active questioning, exploration, and critical thinking to deepen understanding. My teaching emphasizes comprehension over memorization, ensuring that students develop independent problem-solving skills. Outside teaching, I engage with applied mathematics challenges, puzzles, and real-world data analysis projects. Bringing these experiences into lessons keeps them relevant and engaging.
