About Ayla
My interest in mathematics began in early schooling, where I found joy in solving puzzles, recognizing patterns, and applying logical reasoning to problems. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 6 years, I have taught students from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on clarity, patience, and structured learning. I aim to help students develop confidence in their abilities while fostering a deeper appreciation for the subject.
I tailor lessons to each student’s level and learning style. Beginners build foundational skills through guided exercises and simple examples. Intermediate learners expand problem-solving skills, explore algebraic structures, and develop functional reasoning. Advanced students tackle calculus, complex functions, and higher-order problem-solving challenges. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and independent exploration in every session.
Outside teaching, I engage with mathematical puzzles, research, and applied problem-solving projects, incorporating these insights to make lessons relevant and stimulating. Observing students progress from uncertainty to confidence, developing both analytical skills and enjoyment of the subject, is immensely rewarding.
