About Sam
I graduated from Durham University in 2019 with a First Class Degree in Mathematics, and achieved an A* grade in Maths and Further Maths A levels, and Maths GCSE. I have over 5 years experience tutoring GCSE, A level and university Maths, both online and in-person. I have also worked the finance and technology sectors. The feedback I have received for my tutoring has been consistently excellent; I am rated 5 star from over 100 online lessons, and one of my proudest achievements is a student moving from 3rd to top set maths.

I think it is very important to tailor lessons to individuals needs, and focus on the concepts they find challenging. It is essential to focus on developing a good understanding of the fundamentals, so this can be applied to solve any challenging questions. I am always willing to focus on any topic or area where a student struggles; I have helped students improve a broad range of skills, from algebra to setting out their working more neatly.
