About Danielle
I have a Graduate degree in Mathematics Education and an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics. I have taught middle school math and have tutored elementary school students. I have also tutored various mathematics courses at a college level for 9 years.

My teaching approach is to first discover where the student is struggling because sometimes they are not aware of the underlying problem themselves. I do this by asking the student higher order thinking questions as they are completing a problem. If the student is confused or stuck at a certain point I ask them questions about material they had learned previously to help them figure out what they need to do on their own rather than telling them what to do. My goal is for students to believe in themselves and realize that they are intelligent and can do anything they set their mind to.
