About Kate
A bit about me! - I am a patient, quiet person and I love maths, photography, music, dogs, and I dabble in some crocheting in my downtime.
Although I love maths, I definitely understand how difficult it can be to grasp sometimes and I hope I can provide you with the knowledge and confidence you need to succeed in it.

My lessons will be delivered online and I aim to build a good relationship with the student in order to develop their confidence in the subject as well as inspire them and encourage their enjoyment of the subject.
I will identify areas they are struggling with and work on these areas as well as strengthen the foundations of their knowledge. Also, I will adapt to their way of learning and provide different ways to explain concepts and work on problems. I believe it is important to go into more depth in the subject in order to understand why you have to do something and ultimately make it easier to apply pre-existing knowledge to problems and similar situations.
I am happy to provide feedback after each session, resources and questions for the student to work on, and any work we did in the session.
I am familiar with the Edexcel GCSE Mathematics course, AQA Level 2 (GCSE) Further Mathematics course, OCR A-Level Mathematics course, and OCR A-Level Further Mathematics course (specifically Pure, Mechanics, and Further Additional Pure).
