About Adil
Hi, I’m Adil, a university Mathematics student. I achieved a grade 7 in GCSE Maths and have also studied A-level Maths.
I know maths can feel tricky sometimes, so I focus on making it simple, clear and less stressful. I’m friendly, patient and supportive, and I enjoy helping students build confidence one step at a time.
As a student myself, I know that sometimes maths is easier to understand when it’s explained by someone who has recently been through it too. I like to explain things in a simple, relaxed way that makes students feel comfortable asking questions.
Whether you’re stuck on homework, revising for a test, or just want maths to finally make sense, I’m here to help.

My lessons are all about making maths feel less scary and more manageable.
I tutor Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, and GCSE Foundation students in Years 10 and 11. I know maths can sometimes feel confusing, especially when teachers move too quickly, so I break everything down step by step in a simple and friendly way.
In my lessons, we can work on homework, class topics, revision, exam practice, or any areas you feel stuck on. I focus on helping students understand the method, not just memorise answers. We will go through examples together, practise questions, and build confidence along the way.
I like to keep lessons relaxed, interactive and enjoyable. There is no pressure to be perfect — mistakes are part of learning. My goal is to help students feel more confident in maths and leave each lesson thinking, “Actually, I can do this.”
Topics I can help with include:
fractions, percentages, algebra, equations, graphs, ratio, geometry, angles, probability, averages, exam-style questions and much more.
Whether you want to catch up, improve your grades, or feel more confident before exams, I’ll help you at your own pace.
