I introduce each topic from first principle and give different examples of each topic. I then give students selected mathematical problems to solve & I look at the students work to ensure his approach is right. Some homework is then given to the student which I have to review & make corrections ,if any. Tests are then administered at the end of each topic & if satisfied with outcome,I move on to the next topic
