About Carlos
I'm Carlos Martínez, I'm 19 years old and I'm studying Mathematics and Computer Science. If you are looking for a private teacher, I understand that you are not looking for someone else to tell you the same thing as in your high school, and that is not what I intend to do. I will try to make you really understand what is giving you problems, and adapt to your needs in a way that teachers, unfortunately, cannot. I offer classes online, and I teach on weekends and Monday afternoons (the university schedule does not allow me to teach at any other time).

I can work as a tutor of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Programming and, if the situation requires it, English (I passed the Cambridge University C1 exam with a C2 level), for high school or pre-university students. I am a third-year student of the Double Major in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Malaga, and this experience has given me an analytical approach when solving problems that can be very useful to me, as well as facilitating the task of explaining a problem or a theoretical lesson to others.
When explaining a lesson, I do not intend that the student learn to do some exercises, or memorize a certain formula, instead I will try to start by explaining what the problem is meant to solve, that is, where the problem we are dealing with comes from, and, developing from there, introduce the necessary tools to deal with it, seeing examples, assisting my teaching with digital tools such as Geogebra or Wolphram Alpha, and letting the student do exercises in order to test their knowledge. Learning to do the exercises should not be the objective of the class, but the consequence of a thorough understanding of the subject, and through the classes they should not be taught to do a certain exercise, but to handle the necessary tools to do it.
