About Harry
My background is in Computer Science & Maths - with a 1st class degree from the University Of Bath, I begun tutoring on MyTutor back in 2017. Since then I have gone on to become a private tutor, offering in-person sessions around West London, and online. I mostly meet students through word of mouth, but have recently popped an ad up on here as I have a couple of slots left for the 25/26 academic year!
I have taught over 100 students, over the past 7 years - and have loved getting to know them all. I believe everyone has different learning styles, and I cater to all - with patience and a good plan, you will surprise yourself with how much you can improve!

I take a wider approach to tutoring, believing the work doesn’t just happen during the 1-1 or small group session. I work with the student, to build them a plan for revision, and provide customised resources to support their journey.
Everything we go through, homework that is set, marking I do - etc - is all stored on a central google document - with the student and parent having access to.
A typical lesson might look something like this!
0-5 mins, catch up about the students shcool life/work.
5-15 mins, walk through the questions set the previous week.
15-30 mins, I teach the content for whatever topic we are covering this week!
30-55 mins, we do 25 minutes of past paper exam questions. Together we then "tick off" what sup-topics within the current topic the student is smashing, or struggling with. We keep a bank of "struggling" sub-topics, and this really helps focus the students efforts of what to revise!
55-60 mins, I set the homework for the following week!
